The Opportunity: Finance Officer - Projects
The Forum Secretariat is looking externally to employ a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the role of Finance Officer - Projects, based on the Finance Team. The position will report to the Project Accountant and will assist in managing finances for projects undertaken through the Forum Secretariat’s financial systems and through those of the funding provider.
Some key areas of responsibility will include (but will not be limited to):
Applicants should have a degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognised tertiary institution with prior experience (at least 3-5 years) in a similar role with donor programs
Candidates with excellent PC-based computer skills and computerized accounting systems, preferably Business Central and Navision Accounting software, including Windows based applications such Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The Package
The position carries a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including allowances for education, medical, accident and life insurance coverage. This position is based on Band 7 of the PIFS salary scale. The starting salary for the position is FJ$32,795 per annum.
