The Opportunity
The position will lead, coordinate, and support, regional efforts to monitor, evaluate, report and learn from the implementation of the 2050 Strategy. The position holder will be responsible for the following responsibilities to name a few:
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree (preferably Masters level or equivalent) in international development, international relations or related fields with a demonstrated ability to undertake strategic planning at a high level with at least five years relevant work experience in international development and on regional issues, preferably in the Pacific region.
Candidate with expert level competencies in a range of MEL methodologies and approaches and skilled user of databases for entering, processing, cleaning and extracting data. Possess a good understanding and experience of conducting MEL for cross-cutting issues, including GESI, into policies and programmes.
The Benefits
The positions carry a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including allowances for housing and education; and medical, accident and life insurance coverage. The positions are based at Band 12/ Adviser level of the PIFS salary scale. The starting salary for position is SDR 44,447 per annum, which is equivalent to FJD 132, 638.
Note: Amounts are based on 1 July foreign exchange rate, but your final salary will be dependent on foreign exchange rates at the time of payment.
