The Opportunity – Information Management Support

 

The Forum Secretariat is looking locally to employ a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the role of Information Management (IM) Support, based at Operations.  The IM Support assists the IM Team by providing information services to the Secretariat staff, other regional organisations, Forum members and stakeholders and the public.

 

Some key areas of responsibility will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Assist in Maintaining Current Records (Active and Semi Active Files)
  • Assist in Management of Archived Records (Non-Active)
  • Correspondence and Mail Management
  • Contact and Content Management
  • Library Management.
  • Corporate Accountabilities

 

Applicants should have a Certificate in Records and Information Management or Library Studies or similar with at least three years’ work experience in similar role and work environment. Candidates with a sound knowledge of current records management practices and systems; and or a sound knowledge of current library management practices and systems.

 

The Package

 

The position carries a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including allowances for housing and education; and medical, accident and life insurance coverage. This position is based on Band 3 of the PIFS salary scale. The starting salary for the position is FJ$16,572 per annum.
