The Opportunity

 

The Forum Secretariat invites suitably experienced and qualified individuals to apply for the position of IT Network Support Coordinator. The role shall provide management of network and systems outside of the core systems and network (i.e. data centre, backup site, and cloud), provide a second line support for meeting support, and ensure compliance and security of information. The responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Network Support
  • Security and Compliance
  • Meeting Support
  • Administration

 

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in information technology or in related field with minimum of eight years network and meeting support experience or Diploma in Information technology or in relevant field with at least 10 years’ network and meeting support experience.

 

Applicants with work experience to be inclusive of supervisory role and possess sound experience in coordination and oversight of an assortment of networking competencies - cabling experience in fibre optics, copper etc., wireless administration experience, online meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc) and support for Finance Information systems; email Office365 applications and email filtering solutions.

 

The Benefits

 

The position carries a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance, education, and housing allowance. The position is placed at Band 9 / Officer level of our salary scale, starting at SDR 28,750 equivalent to FJD 87,450.

 

Note: Amounts are based on 1 August foreign exchange rates, but the final salary will be dependent on foreign exchange rates at the time of payment.
