The Opportunity
The Forum Secretariat likewise invites suitably experienced and qualified individuals to apply for the position of IT User Support Coordinator, which role will provide support to all users, with a focus on ensuring excellence in meeting experience. The responsibilities of the position will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Applicants should have a degree in Information Technology or related field, with at least eight years’ experience in user support roles or Diploma in Information technology or relevant field, with at least ten years’ experience in user support role
Applicants should have at least 3-5 years’ experience providing meeting support for medium-to-large conferences and meetings, inclusive of at least two years in a supervisory role. Possesses an approachable attitude and establish good rapport with client bases through open communication style and strong collaborative work style
The Benefits
The position carries a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance, education, and housing allowance. The position is placed at Band 9 / Officer level of our salary scale, starting at SDR 28,750 equivalent to FJD 87,450.
Note: Amounts are based on 1 August foreign exchange rates, but the final salary will be dependent on foreign exchange rates at the time of payment.
