The Opportunity
The Forum Secretariat invites suitably experienced and qualified individuals to apply for the vacant position of Temporary Contracting & Procurement Assistant. The position is administratively accountable to the Procurement & Travel Officer and will work closely with the Procurement & travel team to advance the responsibilities of the unit. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Applicants should have a Diploma/Certificate in Management, Business Studies or similar from a recognized tertiary institution. Holds a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification or have done some CIPS courses
Candidates with ability to learn tasks fast and get work done efficiently and within time frame specified.
The Benefits
The position carries a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance. The position is placed at our Support level with a starting base salary range from F$23,123 to $26,014 at Band 5 on our salary scale.
